What Is a Gut Microbiota Test?

Gain Valuable Insights into Your Gut Health.

The human intestine contains trillions of microorganisms, collectively known as the gut microbiota. Its composition varies depending on diet, lifestyle, age, and other factors.

Our clinic offers Flora Scan®, a comprehensive gut microbiota test that analyzes bacterial diversity, microbial composition, and associations with lifestyle and health-related factors.

Using a reference database of 1,803 Japanese individuals, the test evaluates your gut microbiota profile and classifies it into one of five types.

The results provide useful insights to help you better understand your gut environment and review your daily dietary and lifestyle habits.
